How it works

  1. Pick keyword packs. Ready-made lists in 9 languages. Add your own words too.
  2. Choose apps to watch. Browsers, social apps, anything installed.
  3. Allow two permissions. One reads the screen in those apps; the other shows the pause screen.

When an urge hits

  • A pause card appears with a countdown. Close the page or move on before it ends, or the screen gets covered.
  • "Breathe with me" starts a guided one-minute breathing exercise.
  • Log the urge in a few taps: how you felt, what set it off, whether you got through it. The journal stays on your phone.
  • Insights show your patterns, like "Most catches happen after 10pm".

Your progress

  • Days protected grows every day protection stays on. A caught trigger never resets it; catching it is the point.
  • A plant grows with your streak, from seed to full grown, with milestones from 3 days to a year.
  • Week, month and year charts, a calendar, and the time and app of every catch.
  • A home-screen widget with your streak and one-tap breathing.

  • A 4-digit PIN guards your keywords and watched apps.

Questions

Does it work in incognito mode?

Yes. It reads the screen, not your browsing history, so incognito tabs in a watched browser are covered.

Does it block porn websites?

It reacts to what appears on screen rather than a list of sites. When adult keywords show up in a watched browser or app, the pause screen steps in. You can also add a site's name as one of your own words.

Does it use a VPN?

No. It uses Android's Accessibility service to read text on screen in the apps you pick, on your phone. Your internet connection is left alone.

Can I uninstall it?

Yes, any time, unless you switched on Commitment lock (Premium). Then uninstalling or force-stopping it needs your PIN first.

Does it read my messages?

Only in apps you add to your watch list, and even then the text is only compared with your keywords on your phone and then dropped. It is never stored or sent.

Will image scanning block normal pictures?

Sometimes. Normal mode is balanced. Strict catches more and may block some safe images. Image scanning is a Premium feature for Android 11 and newer.

Is it free?

The core app is free with ads. Premium is a monthly subscription with a 3-day free trial that removes ads and adds Commitment lock, image scanning and every insight.

Can I set it up for a teenager?

Yes. Set a PIN so the keyword list and watched apps can't be changed without it.
