Terms of Use
Pure Blocker · Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Raghav Sharma ("we", "us"), the owner of the Pure Blocker app. By installing or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. You may install Pure Blocker on your own phone, or on the phone of a child for whom you are the legal guardian. Use it only on devices you own or are authorised to manage, and only lawfully.
2. What the app does
Pure Blocker reads on-screen text in the apps you select, and, if you are a Premium subscriber and turn on Image scanning, analyses screenshots on your device (Image scanning is a Premium feature and downloads its models from Google Play the first time you use it). When it finds a match it shows a block screen. You can add a password and a Commitment Lock to make it harder to switch off.
3. No guarantee
No filter is perfect. Pure Blocker can miss content and can block harmless content. Image scanning uses machine-learning models that make mistakes and cannot see inside some protected screens (for example some video players and apps that block screenshots). Do not rely on it as your only safeguard, and do not use it where a failure could cause injury or loss of life. Pure Blocker supports personal recovery and is not medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.
4. Your permissions
The app needs the Accessibility service, display over other apps, and notifications to work. You can withdraw any of them in Android settings, but protection stops if you do. You are responsible for telling other users of a device that monitoring and blocking is on.
5. Accounts, Community and your content
Signing in is optional. If you post in Community you keep ownership of your content, and you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it in the app for as long as it is available there. You may delete your posts and comments in the app.
Do not post anything that is unlawful, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, or that endangers or exploits children, discloses other people's private information, is spam, or infringes anyone's rights. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report posts in the app. Community is peer support, not professional help.
6. Subscriptions and ads
Free use may show ads. Premium is a subscription billed through Google Play. Prices, renewal and cancellation follow Google Play's terms, and you can manage or cancel in Google Play. Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies.
7. Our rights and your limits
The app, its design and its code belong to us or our licensors. You may use it for personal purposes. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or tamper with it, or use it to harm our systems. Third-party components, including the on-device models, are used under their own licences, listed inside the app package (assets/licenses).
8. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content that is missed or wrongly blocked. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.
9. Ending use
You can stop using Pure Blocker at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. We will tell you in the app about significant changes.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
